Guru
For both honestly.
fish7718
Would be for both but the mosque is a little ridiculous. Freedom of religionFreedom of speech for both HOWEVER, the mosque being built 2 blocks away from ground zero is a bit ridiculous, I'm all for building mosques, but they can find a different place to build one. Call me crazy and I know LKR is going to ride my nuts about this but building a monument for the religious nuts on the area where they achieved their biggest "win" is a slap in the face to America, and everyone who suffered a loss on that day. I know those a few Muslims don't represent all of them at all, however, sadly, they do represent a small portion which exists.  If you want to burn the bible, I don't care, do it. I don't see why book burning is a big [expletive]ing deal, Get over it. Edited September 25, 2010 by Fish7718
fish7718
Using your logic, every Christian is in the KKK.Right?...? I just said a few doesn't represent all? Did you mis-interpret my post or something? Then I went on to say the crazy one's are a very small portion. I don't get your post at all. fish7718
Yeah I completely misread, that's why I deleted it.Ahh gotcha Really in the end I'm with Yugo with this one. I really don't care. That's my opinion but in the end of the day if they build it or not I could careless. If they burn holy books I could really careless. Just don't start a holy war, [expletive] is pointless, humans really are destructive race.
Flash
The mosque will be built, even though its a complete disgrace to our country. However, its legal so there's nothing I or anyone else can do about it. What pisses me off the most is that this Imam Rauf guy will not publicly denounce the Jihad and terrorism in general. Have some respect because you're lucky our country is as tolerant as it is towards Muslims considering what happened 9 years ago. Â The Quran burning, again, is legal. I don't think its right but its completely legal because of the first amendment. How this has become such a large story is beyond me considering some people glorify burning the American flag. reno
Sarah Palin said obama is gonna have a mosque built in every city in the u.s or w/e. But anyway, I dont care for it. They got strip clubs and tattoo parlors 2 blocks away from ground zero, and I believe they have a mosque 3 or 5 blocks away? So who gives a [expletive] really. I also heard the guy who owns the site is trying to stir up a lot of controversy, hoping someone will buy the land from him at some outrageous price. Cleveland's Finest
The Constitution allows for it, but it is morally corrupt.

Your a [expletive]ing tool. Let people practice what they want, where they want. These guys setting up the mosque have no ties to terrorism or what happened on 9/11. And what are you accomplishing by burning the quran? What are you accomplishing by burning a bible? To those people I say: Get. A. [expletive]ing. Life. You apparently have way too much time on your hands.

I'm just saying that it would've made things a lot easier had this guy denounced terrorism which he has not to my knowledge. But by not doing so he's created an even bigger scene. I just don't think having the mosque so close is a good thing, its my opinion just like you have yours.  Burning the Quran isn't going to do anything, but the guy has the right to do so based on our constitution, because this is America where we just happen to be free. Did you miss the part where I said I didn't agree with it?
