Flash
My point was made, and I'm sure most everyone (most every non-Heat fan) will agree. It's been three months? Yeah...but you sure couldn't tell, because the Heat seem to win an NBA title every other week. At some point everyone just has to move on. We can't help that the media is constantly talking about the Heat but then again, when's the last time 2 or the top 3 players in the NBA played together? Its ESPN doing what they always do. You say, "I can't wait for the season to start." Well, in your post above, you make it sound genuine. In other posts, you make it sound like you can't wait for the Heat to win 70 games and an NBA title, and embarrass every team fan talking smack. If you can show me where I said those things then that's fine. Do I think we can win a title, yes I do. Not once did I say we'll beat the Bulls' record. Can we? Possibly but at this point its too soon to tell. The little things aren't so annoying until they occur every single day. Personally, I don't hate the Heat because they are going to be crazy good (which I've admitted over and over again), I hate the Heat because they have turned into the most annoying team in the last ten seasons, probably more. Maybe other people hate the Heat because they will be good, that's not my problem and I think that's pretty ignorant, but you're sitting here telling us you can't wait until the season starts. Most of the talk comes because every other day there's a new thread on LBJ or about which team will beat the Bulls' record and things like that. Not once have any of us gone over to another teams forum to talk smack to another fanbase. It happens when they come at us with some crap about LBJ or whatever else they wanna come at us with. You can't expect us not to defend our guys. I agree the media coverage is overwhelming and I see what you're saying, but at the same time you can't fault them for taking full advantage of this because how many times has this ever happened? We can't wait, either. If I told you that Lakers fans can't wait, though...well, you can make out the differences between the two statements, sort of like if I said that I can't wait for that Christmas game. I wouldn't expect anything less. You guys are the defending champs and are the top dogs right now. I can't wait to see us play against each other because they'll be great games every time we play. Flash
In before, "We'll only have two losses so it won't matter." I hope the rest of the site (those that know where I'm coming from) will just bail on these topics from now on, like I'm going to. Maybe for the entire season, with the exception of game topics. Ah, and...by the way, hurry and turn it on ESPN. A special on the Heat are coming up after the commercials (and no, I'm not even kidding). I agreed with you on just about everything until I got here. C'mon dude, let's be serious here. No one on this site is predicting that type of stuff. This thread actually turned into a great discussion so idk what's the problem there. And the Heat didn't even lead Sportscenter, Melo did so that tells you all you need to know but do you not expect them to talk about them considering all the hype they've built up for them? fish7718
Michael had Pippen. Bird had McHale. Kareem had Magic. Wade had Shaq when he still put up 20 and 10. The best player LeBron ever played with was Mo Williams.Uhm, Carlos Boozer?
Poe
You mean without injuries? That's basically saying a healthy Heat team will win six consecutive rings, and dominate the world (or something). Yes, the world will bow before the mighty Heat and their awesome basketball play. You stated that the Heat duo was better than a dynasty duo. I don't recall. I said fans, and I didn't say the entire fanbase. Five Heat fans, among a thousand, are still "fans" aren't they? Then I guess every professional sports team has annoying fans, if all it takes is to find five. So what's the point then? In all fan bases, the fans vary in basketball intellect and personality. You'll find the good and the bad with every team. The only reason you'd single out the fans of a particular team is if you have a reason to hate the team they are rooting for. But this is what happens...long, lengthy and worthless topics that, really, should have a page or less of posts in them. LeBron says the Heat will let their game do the talking? Is that why he's talking? Is that why he tweeted all of the nonsense he did about those "doubting the team" and talking trash? Is that why Wade compared losing two consecutive games to a national tragedy? It's their motivation. If you don't like their tweets, don't look them up. If you don't like what Wade has to say, change channel or switch internet pages. They have full right to say what they want no matter what they have or haven't done, or whether you are annoyed or pleased by the message. In before, "We'll only have two losses so it won't matter." ...why? What's with these quotes that have never been said? I really want to know. Do you want to find reasons to hate Heat fans? Cause you seem to be looking hard for them. I hope the rest of the site (those that know where I'm coming from) will just bail on these topics from now on, like I'm going to. Maybe for the entire season, with the exception of game topics. Okay.
Nitro
Why even post that? The shirt. Just hilarious to see that, him wearing a LeBron MVP shirt, and then have the balls to say he's not even the best player on his team now (among all the other ridiculous statements he makes about LeBron). Cleveland's Finest
I think NBA history has proven that the regular season and the playoffs are a different ball game. LeBron won games as a supreme player with efficient role players, but he couldn't win a championship without a true second option. Or LeBron is MVP of the regular season but not MVP in the playoffs. He never gets any blame. Such a shame. And btw....the fact that you post a pic of a member in a thread is pretty sad...and creepy. Seriously....if I even thought of that I wouldn't do that. It's nice to know you have that in the back of your head. So the comment on the first page about me just complaining and now posting a friggin pic of me randomly? You guys are just egging me on.... Such a shame. He doesn't get blame because he always shows up in the playoffs, just look at hi averages. Dude got a triple double with a bum elbow. He's also the only reason Cleveland was there to begin with. And btw....the fact that you post a pic of a member in a thread is pretty sad...and creepy. Cleveland's Finest
Sorry my opinion can't change over the years after seeing someone's true colors? Even then it's irrelevant. It's not like I kissed his [expletive] last year....I hated on him in the playoffs. Nitro
You guys are just egging me on.... SRV
Well, I didn't read all the posts here, but I get the general idea. Us Heat fans are hated now, we did nothing to cause it, we just support a team that got stacked in one night. I am just gonna sit back and enjoy the season, the team I support is as good as it will ever be, so I am just enjoying it. Let people talk, let them hate, but I am just waiting for that first game to see how good this team really is, and if we blow out the Celtics, and the Magic, you know people are gonna [expletive] themselves. Yea, I won't lie. If the Knicks ended up with this trio I would be pissed, but I would just accept it. Riley and Wade worked their magic and got this team together. I couldn't be happier.

Cleveland's Finest
Still extremely butthurt I see. Look on the bright side, you guys will probably get Brandon Knight this year in the draft. Congrats! Look who started it. Never said anything about Heat fans or the team, I think I still haven't. Now you guys are creating a controversy and feel like you are on top of the world since people are "bashing" your team. Yeah right.
Flash
The best part of the interview was when he said he'll take the last shot of the game. Heat fans will realize what a fake glorified scam this guy is when they see him hiding behind Wade's cape when the pressure is on. It might not even strike you until the playoffs how this scum acts. Don't come in here saying things like this and there's no need for smack talk. You can't expect none of us to say anything when you're talking completely out your [expletive] about a guy who no less than 6 months ago you were crowning every chance you got. Time to move on and accept that he did what he did. Its been over for a while. Edited September 29, 2010 by Flash

Owner Real Deal Posted September 29, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted September 29, 2010 http://82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm (from '03-'09 LeBron had the most game-winning shots in the league, and shot a better % on those shots than Kobe, Wade, Dirk, Joe Johnson, etc.)Most of his were game-tying shots. Someone already pointed it out on another site, and listed them. Just sticking that out there. 82games.com isn't exactly accurate when it comes to a lot of their stats. Plus, a topic over at RealGM (I'll find it later) proved that a lot of those FGA were counted even when the game was out of reach, so when someone like Atlanta was losing by 7-8 with 24 seconds left, and Joe Johnson just shoots a three, they count it as a missed FGA and game-winner attempt. Eh, but the thing is that goes for all those players on the list...equal ground. But either way it's a moot point. LeBron is a proven clutch performer and has been for years, both in terms of taking over the last few minutes of the 4th quarter and actual game-tying/winning shots. Not to mention his career post-season stats are jaw-dropping and he was the star that led one of the worst teams in NBA Finals history. Point being is that Miami shouldn't have to worry about LeBron when the pressure is on.
