Rockets could get back in though if the process stretches for a while. Good move imo, no more distractions heading into training camp and Denver was likely asking for too much if Morey decided to back out. If Melo is still around mid-season when his price tag will drop some then you can expect Houston to get back in the running. For now we're staying pat or look elsewhere for an upgrade. Pretty much what the Rockets/Nets are thinking. We know that the Nuggets won't trade Melo to the Knicks and the Bulls refuse to let go of Noah, which just leaves bottom feeders and bubble teams like the Warriors/Clippers/Sixers.
