magicbalala245
Gasp. Rockets center Yao Ming turned an ankle during Wednesday's practice, but it was not a source of concern. The incident was with his right ankle, not on the surgically repaired left side. And he tested the ankle for a few minutes without problem before the decision was made to hold him out of the remaining scrimmages as a precaution. "It's not bad," Yao said. "I'll be back tomorrow. It happens. I step on people's foot."

ChosenOne
Most Rockets fans have known this since Wednesday, not a big deal he was back on the floor after walking it off but the trainers are obviously going to be very cautious when it comes to Yao that is why they called it a day for him. EDIT: and Kingfish at least he is going to start this season. Edited October 1, 2010 by ChosenOne

Sun Tzu
I had a feeling that he'd have a healthy season. I'm not usually superstitous but this might be a sign

htown11
Sucks to even see any news related to another injury, but it's Yao... The whole time limit thing should serve Yao well, at least I hope that process helps him play at least 80-85% healthy all season. The Rockets are still not very deep at the center position, with an injury prone Yao and a very old man in Miller you need more reinforcement. The Chuck Wagon can hold down the fort (corny) but I rather see the Rockets try to pick up Dampier for more depth.
