Guru
If you actually listen to Kobe's explanation it makes some sense.
AboveLegit
Yeah I agree with Kobe, he made some good points regarding their playing styles.

Flash
How would he be lying? LeBron is just much bigger and better in the post. He'd be lying because he's LeBron lol. If they were to play 1 on 1, witch LBj's combination of size, speed and athleticism I don't think you can really sit there and say Kobe every time. LeBron isn't a bad one on one player himself either.

Flash
They have different post games people. If you don't LeBron can back Kobe down in the post at 6'8, 260 you're nuts. Kobe obviously has a ridiculous turnaround J but let's not act as if LBJ is some bum with no post game.
YugoRocketsFan
You....... you are..... joking right? Kobe doesnt have any great post moves, LeBron could easily go in the post and just score there. I am not talking about post moves.

YugoRocketsFan
Thats cuz he learned from Hakeem who doesnt have any post moves. Yes, because he learns from one of the best, doesnt mean he'll be amazing after like 4 training sessions. You put guys like Kwame Brown to learn with Hakeem for 50 years, and he still wont learn anything.
magicbalala245
^ Did you just compare Kobe to Kwame. Kobe's work ethic has made him one of the best players in the post today. http://www.zgeek.com/forum/gallery/files/1/0/8/polar-bear-face-palm_thumbnail1.jpg Edited October 3, 2010 by magicbalala245
Owner Real Deal Posted October 3, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted October 3, 2010 Kobe is the best post player at the guard position since Jordan, and many will argue he's on Jordan's level (or better) in the post. That was before he went to Hakeem. And a bigger player cannot just go post up someone. They have to have post skills. I'm really not sure if you guys are serious or not. It would be a little different if we were talking about Bynum posting up on Kobe, because it's WAY too much weight and height...but LeBron is not a seven-footer, and he's not 290-300 pounds with a center's wingspan. But, at the end of the game, it won't be about the post...it'll be about the on-ball defense. LeBron is not an elite on-ball defender, and Kobe has many, many more ways of scoring, so it will take much more than a LeBron James to stop Bryant from dropping buckets. Now, if it's Wade and LeBron, it's a bit different. Wade is a slasher, and LeBron is more athletic. Tough to really say there. I think that, really, Wade would cause more trouble for Kobe than LeBron would.
