Nitro
OUCH that's a ball-breaker. As mentioned, they do have the depth to win games without Boozer, but it sucks because now they lose the pre-season and beginning of the regular season to gain some chemistry with the revamped roster. htown11
Tough break for the Bulls, they had created an impressive starting 5. Like Nitro said training camp and preseason would have really helped the team gel, Boozer is a huge piece to the puzzle.
Jenneral
This is why depth prevails every time.
Newman
Thank god we didn't trade Gibson away, solid replacement for Boozer. Looks like we need another big man though, just temporarily maybe. EDIT: Some of the comments on ESPN state that Boozer's injury, a broken fifth metatarsal, is more likely due to him hitting a wall instead of falling down the stairs as Booze states. You can't break your fifth metacarpal by falling and catching yourself, unless you have a closed fist when you hit the ground. And no one closes their fist after they fall. He punched something in a fit of rage - that's how people break their fifth metacarpal. If that is the case, I am pissed. Nestle Snipes
Get well soon Booz, hopefully this is his only injury in the Bulls and he has a full and speedy recovery.
