Check my Stats
It depends what happens in Washington, Wall should win it, it is just a matter of whether or not Arenas allows him to.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 4, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 It depends what happens in Washington, Wall should win it, it is just a matter of whether or not Arenas allows him to.Between Wall, Griffin and Cousins, it all depends on their roles. I'm very curious to see how Gordon and Griffin play together, if Gordon will feed off of him in the post or what, and I'm not really sure how Cousins will do with Landry and Casspi wanting shots. Griffin should run away with it. It takes PGs longer to develop. I think Cousins' attitude could ruin him, at least for the first couple of years of his career.
moeroadkill
imo i think Wesley Johnson will take it i think he will have a pretty big role in minn, there are to many 'what ifs' around wall and Cousins as you guys have said above i just think johnson will put up some big number across the board

Beasley will be the first option offensively, with Love and Flynn fighting Johnson for shots as well.... Johnson's role is as murky as anyone's right now, if not more so imo. Multi-Billionaire
I think it's either Blake Griffin or Derrick Favors... I'm going with Favors.

Check my Stats
Lol Favors isn't even penciled in as a starter yet, and even if he is, he'll be what, the 4th option offensively? Favors has no chance, he probably won't even get the minutes he would need to average a double double. You troll me, I troll you. 7-8 assists?!?!?!?!?!?!? Dr. Feelgood
In all reality, it'll probably be Luke Babbitt to win ROY. The kid is an absolute stud on offense, no one could guard him in summer league, will be backing up both Roy and Batum so he'll get about 25+ mins a game if not more. Okay, for real, it's going to be DeMarcus Cousins or Blake Griffin. Going by history and by the roles of Cousins, Griffin, and Wall, I'm going to assume it'll be a forward taking it. Cousins has a better chance of winning it though as Griffin will have to fight for points and rebounds with Davis, Gordon, and Kaman while Wall has Arenas, Blatche, Hinrich, and Thornton to fight for points. Now Cousins will be the 2nd or 3rd option behind Evans and Landry, so he'll have an easier shot at the ROY award. My final prediction, DeMarcus Cousins. Newman
John Wall. This kid's the real deal and he gets to control the ball at Washington.

AboveLegit
I think Wall will have a fantastic season, he should be able to mesh well with Arenas, but I don't see him maintaining a high PPG. He's going to be much more of a playmaker and a great defender, while Blake Griffin will be a beast statistically. Â My vote goes to Griffin in a very close race. Check my Stats
So best case scenario he is their 3rd option offensively? I'm not disputing he is talented, I just don't think he has much of a shot at the ROTY.
Lone Wolf
Best case, yes. It all depends on how Webster and Brewer play, too. I don't see him having a chance at RotY any ways.
