htown11
Heat president Pat Riley has Celtics coach Doc Rivers at the top of his list of potential candidates to replace Erik Spoelstra should he decide to replace the young coach. Rivers thought about leaving Boston to spend time with his family this summer and doesn't want to discuss his future. Bit surprised he didn't name himself as the replacement lol. At the same time this was Doc on his coaching future. SRV
Why would he even replace Spoelstra? And if he did, what makes you think Riley wouldn't take over the team, add to his legacy.

Flash
Its not a silly rumor. I made a thread about this a while back and its been going around for some time. If Spo fails, which I don't think he will, Riley will put the full court press on Doc once he leaves Boston. Riley hasn't come out and said this either so let's also make that clear. Hawks Fly High
I think they are going to hire Phil Jackson, Gregg Poppovich, and Doc Rivers and form a Big 3 of Head Coaches!!!! They would be totally undefeatable
