Teletopez
Tex's injury didn't look pretty. At first glance, you wonder if he's done for the postseason. Molina homers... A.J.'s out looks much worse on paper than it really was. There's going to be a lot of criticism if Girardi gives him another start, but I wouldn't be completely opposed to it. But now we have a 5-3 deficit to overcome.

NomarFachix
The rippling titty fat after that chest pump will haunt my dreams tonight. What a horrendous turn of events.
Teletopez
Hamilton is like last year's WS Utley. A Tex injury, not scoring after two on and no outs, the Molina HR, and the Hamilton HR have drained quite some life out of this crowd. We need some kind of spark for a Game 1-esque rally. Owner Real Deal Posted October 20, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted October 20, 2010 Not a fan of baseball as much as basketball and football, so I don't know any "advanced" rules or anything. Why did the DH for the Yanks (the last batter) not hit as a lefty?
NomarFachix
The pitcher was a lefty. Lefty on lefty matchups are avoided if possible.

Yes, but as a switch hitter, he's probably literally not seen a pitch from a left handed pitcher as a left handed batter in at least a decade. Guru
and i love how the yankee fans left in the 7th-8th inning! Not really that surprised to be honest, but I do see where you are coming from. (Believing in your team, supporting until the end blah blah blah)But you clearly don't know what it feels like to be stuck in NY traffic, and on top of that on a Tuesday night. Phightins
Playoff crowds suck everywhere, not just NY. I think you saw the "real fans" sticking around there at the end. Most "real fans" are priced out by playoff tickets. They are just too damn expensive.
