Phightins
And that right there would be this series in a nutshell. Chooch killed it. An inch to the right or left and we are tied with the go-ahead run on 3rd with 1 out. Typical. Edited October 24, 2010 by Phightins

Phightins
How was I trolling? Cause I disagreed with you? You know exactly what you were doing. Every time I point out that luck is not on the Phillies side, you get very troll-like and deny it. And the numbers aren't lying. Virtually identical for both sides. Phightins
The Giants have been great in 1 run games all postseason, yet you say its luck. The most common trait of a troll: just pick and choose what you want to read and respond to. I have been giving the Giants credit all series long, and I have been ripping the Phillies' shortcomings all series. I also mentioned that the Giants seem to be getting more breaks, but please do not say I am putting this series entirely on "luck". That would show you have an inability to read. Anyway..Uribe hits a pop up that leaves the yard, and Ruiz kills a ball, that, if goes an inch to either the left or right, ties the game and puts the go ahead run on 3rd with less than one out. Seems like that has happened a lot in this series, hence the nutshell comment. I'll be back after this inning.

Cleveland's Finest
Wow. Never let the umpire determine a pitch of that magnitude. Howard should've kept hitting.

That was a perfect breaking ball on the outside corner. Why reward the hitter and punish the pitcher for making the perfect pitch?
Phightins
This season goes down as a complete and utter disaster. Weirdest season I can remember. I will throw a post-mortem together in the Phillies thread later. Anyway, 'grats to the Giants. A Rangers-Giants series will be sick. Owner Real Deal Posted October 24, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted October 24, 2010 I really didn't care who won the game, but once I saw Werth on deck, I was praying that Howard got that base hit, loaded the bases for Werth, who would crush a grand slam. Yes, fantasy land.
