Why reward the hitter and punish the pitcher for making the perfect pitch? I meant Howard shouldn't have taken the pitch and let the umpire determine if it was a strike or not. Wilson striking out Howard is a different story. No excuse for not hacking there, although that is Ryan's MO. I dreaded the day when something like this would happen.
