Pooh25
The Hawks and big man Al Horford have continued to discuss a contract extension. "We are still talking to the team," he said. "I just hope it gets done." Horford must receive a contract extension by Nov. 1 or he will become a restricted free agent next summer. Via Atlanta Journal-Constitution I would be surprised if they do not get a deal done. Edited October 16, 2010 by TheBullsInsider
Newman
They didn't extend Jamal's contract just to extend Horford's so there's no doubt this deal will be completed.
crabbylion
If the Hawks know well they'd better extend Horford's contract. He's a cornerstone for any franchise. They better do something to keep pace in the Southeast Division.
Cobb
The Hawks All-Star big says there’s no movement in contract extension talks with Atlanta. From the AJC: “Horford said there’s been no movement on contract extension negotiations between his representatives and the Hawks. ‘We are still talking to the team,” he said. “I just hope it gets done.’ Agreement on an extension must be reached by Nov. 1 or he will become a restricted free agent next summer. Come on ASG! Get it done. Edited October 17, 2010 by Cobb
