Jenneral
11. MilwaukeeFYI: I missed Brandon Jennings last year. Time for a mulligan. One other reason: I'm excited for the Corey Maggette/Scott Skiles dynamic. They're a worse couple than Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. I watched Maggette on the Clippers for three solid years. He's great on paper (why advanced basketball metrics can be trusted only to a point), rebounds bigger than his size, plays up to his competition, plays defense occasionally (repeat: occasionally) and gets along with teammates. Those are the reasons you would trade for him. Flipping it around, he's a career loser (11 years, 12 playoff games) who thinks he's better than he is (never a good thing) and makes dumb decisions at the worst possible times. But always with a smile on his face. He's going to drive Skiles crazy. I can't wait. lol
Flash
You know what team doesn't have players with high ceilings? The Lakers, cause they already live on the roof. Let's watch those teams instead of getting too hyped about a defenseless two-guard with poor court awareness playing the point. Evans is a nice player, and the Kings have some nice pieces. I enjoy watching them play on offense, but I'm not running home from wherever to see Jason Thompson block a shot, miss a layup, fill a lane, and be in one place when he needs to be in another. The Lakers are a veteran team with the best player in the NBA though unlike Sacramento so that explains why they are where they are. Tyreke Evans is one of 4 guys to average 20/5/5 as a rookie. The others are Jordan, The Big O and LeBron. He's more than a "nice" player. He's a special talent I don't know how you can deny that. Thompson came in very raw and improved in his second year even if it was a small improvement. I think there's a lot of potential there with him. Cousins is going to be great I have no doubt. He's a dominant rebounder and is averaging 16 and 9 so far this pre-season. Why is Washington so low? Because of Arenas? Have you seen Wall play yet?Let's watch some teams with players who don't need stepladders to meet their ceilings. You know what you're getting with the top teams though. That's why these young, up and coming teams are exciting to watch because we don't know how good they're going to become. Dr. Feelgood
Wow, love how he bashed Portland for signing Wesley Mathews. The kid is very underrated and as he gets better in his career, we start paying him less. I stopped taking his list serious when I saw Boston #1 and the Kings in the top 10.
