AboveLegit
Looking forward to a new season of Caps hockey. We gotta focus on defense this year. Hopefully Varlamov doesn't miss too much time, but Michal Neuvirth has been looking terrific out there for us in the preseason. The biggest problem I've noticed from him is that when he's playing bad, he's playing BAD. Luckily you get a lot more good than bad from him, but when he has an "off" night, you're going to notice it. Should be another great season, was tough the way it ended last season in the playoffs. Check my Stats
The problem is Ovechkin only dominates one side of the ice, same with all the other star forwards there. you can get away with mediocre goalies, but you need to play defense, Chicago had a terrific defensive core and Philly had a really solid top 4, last year. And Mike Green is really sexy in the regular season, but going into the postseason with him as your "number 1 defenseman" is kind of a recipe for disaster. I know that's saying a lot about an opponent, but whatever -_-

The amount of points that Green gets is absurd, but what is also is absurd is that such a talented player is incapable of playing competent defense. He doesn't need to be shutdown, but he is a liability at times defensively. Their blueline overall is very thin to begin with.
Universe
If they can get a Pronger type player, then they'll dominate. That also might mean you part with a Semin type player though.
