Pooh25
If the Bulls acquired Joe Johnson, do you think that they would have been a lock to reach the Eastern Conference Finals? Check my Stats
On paper I would probably rank them 2nd best in the East.

Jenneral
No. The Bulls are overrated. I don't see how they are a lock for anything, with or without JJ. There are plenty of other teams, some even in the same division, that are equal, if not better than, the Bulls.

EastCoastNiner
Do you think they will have enough to beat the Heat? Rose - AllstarJJ - All-Star - SuperstarDeng - Borderline All-starBoozer - All-Star - SuperstarNoah - Allstar(Last year if he didn't have the injuries) You're over-rating your team BIG time. Please don't ever call Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer superstars ever again. And, you're pumping up Noah and Deng.
Jenneral
Bulls are better then the Bucks, no doubt in my mind and several hundred thousands fans of the game of NBA.I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the season plays out then. The way I see it though, both teams are pretty similar. Jennings - Rose Bulls get the edge, obviously. Salmons - Bogans, Korver? idkBucks win the SG battle regardless. Salmons proved that he still has it and can be a viable option down the stretch. Maggette - DengDeng probably wins the matchup 9 out of 10 times here, but not by much. Maggette can score at will and will get to the line when we need points. Gooden - BoozerBulls get the edge again but Boozer is by no means a "superstar". Sure, he's a good player but nowhere near the level that can carry a team to a title. Gooden will fill his role and be a strong contributor to a deep team. Bogut - NoahBogut wins this everyday. He emerged as one of the top centers in the league before his injury last year. Keep in mind that the Bucks are also an extremely deep team. On our bench we'll have Mbah a Moute, CDR, Boykins, Sanders, Ilyasova, Delfino, and Redd if he actually comes back as a Buck. I'll take the Bucks bench any day over the Bulls. In the NBA, injuries can kill a team. Over 82 games not everyone is going to stay healthy (see Boozer... season hasn't even started) so it's important to have depth. I think the Bucks will be a better team than you're giving them credit for. It's going to be a fun season to watch, probably for both teams. Just don't be so quick to mark your team as great and a title contender when it's not even a lock that they'll be finishing in first in the division.
La Bomba
Deng's problem is his injuries. He'll always has and always will be better than Maggette. Maggette is a looser who plays with his head down and doesn't play a lick of defense.

Pooh25
Jennings - Rose Bulls get the edge big time. Derrick Rose is actually playing defense this year and has played well in the preseason against Jennings and Wall defensively and on the other side of the ball, they cannot stop him because of his strength and athleticism. Salmons - Bogans, Korver? BrewerSalmons still has it? He always gives up after he signs a contract. Maggette - Deng / James JohnsonMaggette can score at will and will get to the line when we need points. Deng also gets to the line when needed as well, yesterday he shot about 12(or +) free throws against the Raptors. James Johnson is the point forward that the Bulls need and he is playing well and letting the game come to him. Gooden - Boozer / Taj17 & 10 is a thing Drew Gooden can only dream of.Bogut - Noah / Omer Asik Bogut wins this everyday. He emerged as one of the top centers in the league before his injury last year. Again, Bogut has to go against two 7 footers and Asik will probably play center against Bogut because of his size while Noah plays the PF, if Boozer is not there. I think the Bucks will be a better team than you're giving them credit for. It's going to be a fun season to watch, probably for both teams. Just don't be so quick to mark your team as great and a title contender when it's not even a lock that they'll be finishing in first in the division. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gifI've never stated my team as title contenders, therefore you can't infer, statements I've never said. I'll bet you that the Bulls beat the Bucks in the division. The first four seeds have to go to division leaders:1) Miami2) Orlando3) Chicago4) Boston ( They are going to coast like previous seasons to preserve their big three and keep them fresh for the playoffs like last year). Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer superstars ever again. And, you're pumping up Noah and Deng.I was trying to make a point that talent difference from Noah to JJ and Booz. Noah led the league in rebounding last year until he had his injury he was going to make the all-star team and Deng has always been borderline all-star. Let me ask you this is Chris Bosh a superstar in this league? Many fans seem to say so. Boozer's stats are better then Bosh's and Boozer was on a greater team then Bosh's who didn't even make the playoffs while he was the #1 option and Boozer was the #2. Newman
Who would they be giving up for JJ? Or are you saying that they sign JJ along with everyone else? Anyway, that's still a 4th seed team. I am sorry, but they are still no better than Magic/Dwight, The Fantastic Four + Shaq/Jermaine in Boston or The Big Three in the Heat. If anything, having JJ would undermine Rose's development in my opinion because JJ is most effective with the ball.

BadgerFan
You wouldn't have been able to sign JJ, Krover, and Boozer. I don't think you would have had the cap space to sign 2 max contracts and then Krover. and the Bucks are better then the Bulls. They are REALLY overrated.
