ESPN Boston's Jackie MacMullan got a chance to chat with Pierce after Friday's practice and we asked her to get the lowdown on the new tattoo: "I got it done [Thursday] night," said Pierce. "The guy was referred to me by Marquis [Daniels] and [Kendrick Perkins]. They had some work done on them and I liked what I saw, so I went and got it done. I got [wife Julie's] permission... I just liked it; It's who I am. It's really cool to have it." Pierce did admit he should have taken some aspirin before he went to the tattoo shop. "It took two hours, so I should have," said Pierce. It look's like 8 leafs but it ain't. I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but it's different when someone gets inked with something important to them. We all know he has the tats on his back to cover up his stab wounds. But this one is obviously an incredible work. I like how it's got the dice he likes to pretend like he's throwing in the pre-game intros.
