The Lone Granger
The Jazz have a significant trade chip in Andrei Kirilenko's $17.8 million expiring contract, but they appear unlikely to move it. Other teams might show interest in Kirilenko's contract, but Utah general manager Kevin O'Connor likes continuity. "The way Andrei has played for us in the past and the way he played in the preseason, he's a real key to our team," O'Connor said. "He really competes." Last season the Jazz had the expiring contract of Carlos Boozer, but they opted to hold onto him. -RealGM I agree that he's a major key to the Jazz. His defensive ability has been well marked over the past several seasons, and he's also grown a lot on the offensive end of the floor. He's calmed down a lot and become a decent on-court leader, and he hustles after the ball quite often and rebounds decently as well. Definitely don't blame them for not wanting to move him. Thoughts? Make It Naaaashty
He's a great defender no doubt, but offensively he has a lot to improve. If I remember correctly AK still has a massive contract, depending on what they get in return I would consider trading him.
