N.1.A.K.
Giants were lucky to beat the Braves. Lucky to beat the Phillies. Even lucky to be in the playoffs. But now they are even more lucky to be in the world series. Lucky to own Halladay. Lucky to own Lee. Lucky to win game one of the world series. They will be lucky if they win the world series. Lucky to beat the Braves? no. The Braves beat themselves. was it the Giants fault Brook Conrad couldnt field a grounder the entire series? Lucky to beat the Phillies? no. Is it the Giants fault the Phillies couldnt score runs... oh wait... maybe it was... Lucky to be in the playoffs? im sure the fact they made the playoffs has nothing to do with the ERA they posted of less than 2 for pretty much the final month and half... Lucky to own Halladay? paging Cody Ross' moonshots... Lucky to beat Cliff Lee? no. were the Giants batters forcing him to lose his normally excellent control and leave balls over the plate? are the Giants forcing the Rangers RP's to throw balls here in this 8th inning? Phightins
I was being sarcastic to because of people saying the Giants are getting lucky. Being lucky is not necessarily a bad thing. The Giants have deserved to be where they are right now, but it's hard to deny all of the breaks going their way. Every decision Bochy makes is turning to gold, and quite the opposite is happening for the opposing managers (see: this inning). Have to be good to be lucky, though. I don't know why that got all of the Giants fans so offended. You're in the World [expletive]in Series, enjoy it!!! Phightins
The Giants have scored 20 runs in 2 games. Only scored 19 in 6 games in the LCS. Wow!!
Guru
lmao, http://www.huliq.com/10061/san-fran-pot-shop-free-joints-giants-homers-other-goodies When the San Francisco Giants' Juan Uribe hit a homer in game one of the team's World Series 11-7 win over the Texas Rangers, patients at ReLeaf Herbal Center were the winners. The medical marijuana dispensary is giving one free joint to its patients who show up, for every home run hit by a Giants player.
Phightins
I heard the entire park reeked of weed last night. Lots of blazing in the RF stands. I wish this was acceptable in Philly .

Legacy
Sanchez should have started game 2. He can't handle the road crowds. He choked in Philly and he's doing the same now.
