magicbalala245
NBA spokesman confirms that uniform rules this year prohibit players (including @RajonRondo) from wearing their headbands upside down. Wack as [expletive] I bet If the NBA saw LeBron wear his headband upside down they would shrug it off. Lkr
stupid rule, even stupider reason not to wear it. what difference does it make to either side?
Jenneral
Rondo should just pull a 'Sheed and flip it inside out.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 28, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 They banned Nike and other types of headbands, also, just years ago. All headbands have to be sponsored by the NBA. If you aren't wearing the logo, you aren't wearing the band (if I recall correctly).
andreusito
The NBA is becoming to obsessed. Who cares how you wear your headband.. lol
Dr. Feelgood
Rondo is pretty stubborn. What are his reasons for wearing it upside down? Who cares if it's rightside up...
fish7718
First Caron Butler and chewing straws, then SVG and turtle necks, then the dumb no argue rule, and now this? The NBA is pathetic, fix your cap situation or something rather then worry about stupid things like this. I hope Rondo wears it inside out now so you can't tell if it's upside down or not.. Superstition? If you only wore upside-down headbands for your whole career, and you were generally successful why would you stop?

Dr. Feelgood
I know this isn't Rondo's reason for having it upside down, or any player who previously had it upside down, but typically when a logo or flag is upside down, it's usually meant in disrespect towards that particular logo or flag. A good example would be an upside down American flag. Maybe that's Stern's reasoning behind it.

And I wouldn't be quick to say that's not Rondo's reasoning behind it, unless there's proof of it, lol. I wouldn't be surprised, especially the way Boston has been complaining about the refs over the last couple of seasons.

Big Penny
"So Mr. Stern, what shall we work on this meeting? Attempting to stop floppers from ruining the game? The increasing possibility of a lockout?" "No, let's fine that All-Star for wearing his headband upside-down" "Great idea!"
