Cudi needs to stop with the whole hard drug junkie front and just rap like he did on MOTM1 and A Kid named Cudi. The album gets boring to me. Its a shame he quit rapping because he's so messed up in the head.

this is the last album that will resemble a rap album. his next will be rock. he's currently learning the guitar.

Please tell me you're kidding. Didn't he see what happened when Lil Wayne tried going that route?

First of all, no I'm 100% serious....

"In MTV ‘s News Extended Play, Cudder admits that as of late, he’s lost his passion for laying down a full sixteen bars and plans to drop a rock album next. After the jump, he mentions he didn’t want his verse on “Christian Dior Denim Flow” and discusses his feature on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."-rapradar

And don't compare Cudi to Wayne as far as music creativity goes - Cudi has never been a punchline or lyrical rapper, and has always had a good amount of 'musical influence' in his albums... aka a lot of singing, ratatat, etc.

I know that. I'm just saying that he's been successful so far, why risk it and change it?

Because I don't think Kid Cudi has ever loved rapping. That's never what he's been about. He's been about bringing an alternative sound to hip-hop, which is why he's been successful. He hasn't been successful because of his rapping ability; but rather an alternative sound to the Jay-Z's and J.Cole's of the business...

I don't see a problem with it, I mean, he can sing...Erase me is a kinda "rock, pop" type of song and I think he's going to try more stuff like that. I think it'll be interesting.

As a fan of more of his 'rap' stuff I do wish he stayed in the hip hop industry but i'm interested to hear this rock [expletive] lol

I know he always raps about bud and that's straight. But some of this [expletive] sounds like some depressed junkie and its getting annoying.

RIP Cudi's career.

This album wasn't bad at all, but I definitely liked MOTM1 more. Ether way, if all his songs are going to be like Erase Me once he stops rapping, than I'll probably never give Cudi another listen.

I've heard about 9 or 10 of the 17 (I think 17 are on it) just on youtube, and I think it's solid...It's pretty much what I expected. It's nothing tremendous but a listenable album. At least to get us through to MBDTF

I've been bumpin this pretty heavily since I got it a few days ago. Not the most lyrically impressive album I've listened to, but it's just a nice album to chill and relax with. To be honest, I like most of the songs on the album, and I like the Marijuana track a lot even though I don't smoke. heh. I think All Along is my favorite on the album though.

Listened to it fully today since I bought it. Pretty good album...not great though. I don't love where Cudi has taken his music...I think he could be better then he is...but it's fine...still a good album on first listen.
