Oliver P
Oliver, what was Barton Fink about? Turturro and Goodman are two of my favorites (Lebowski fan obviously, ). I might have to check it out. Haha nice I'm a huge fan of Goodman and Turturro as well (Goodman is even in my top 5 favorite actors), and a Big Lebowski fan too of course, The Big Lebowski is in my top 20 movies for sure. And the Coen Brothers are definitely my favorite directors. Anyway you defintely have to watch this movie man. Outstanding, just outstanding... As for what it's about, well, it's about a New York playwright who is enjoying the success of his first broadway play and is hired by a movie studio in Hollywood to write scripts for movies which have nothing to do with what he writes about, which is why he hesitates at first... but the movie studio offers him a lot of money and he finally accepts. But in Hollywood things are not going to happen as expected... Well I don't want to tell you much about the movie, don't wanna spoil it, I personally don't like to know anything about a movie when I watch one, not even the name of the characters lol. But all I can say is that it's really, really amazing. I'm sure that you will love it, especially that you love Goodman and Turturro, and apparently like the Coen Brothers as well, I have no doubt that you're gonna enjoy this one. Besides it's even the favorite Coen movie of most people I know. And for me it's without a doubt both Goodman and Turturro's best performances. Especially Goodman, he's really amazing, especially in the final scene. The first time I watched this movie I realized how great Goodman really was... No it's definitely a must see. I watched the first hour and a half or so, and it started raining here, the internet kicked out, and I lost my Netflix stream Was entertaining so far, I got a good laugh out of Goodman's line (paraphrasing) "I can see you feel strongly about it!" Oliver P
^Dam man I wanted to see that movie for years... In fact I almost watched it not so long ago, I hesitated between downloading it and another one, don't remember which one, but I eventually picked the other one. I was planning to download it one of these days but I didn't cause, well I'm busier in real life now... I haven't watched a movies in weeks... But I will watch it as soon as I can. I heard that it was a fantastic movie, a true masterpiece, that it was quite disturbing also, but definitely a must see. What you just said tends to confirm that... I'm definitely gonna check it out as soon as I can.
