Lkr
Pretty impressive stuff so far, and he's been able to take the second half once because his team is doing so well. I know Durant got a pretty big buzz for MVP, but if Kobe remains healthy, he looks to be playing some of his best ball in a couple of years. kingfish
I disagree with that last part. Last season he started the year averaging like 30 points on 50 % shooting, while leading the league in steals. I think that was his best ball of his career, until he broke the finger and it all went down hill from there. What hes doing right now is nice, but I still dont think hes performing up to his capabilities yet.
Check my Stats
His stats look right on par with his normal.
Warren2ThaG
His stats look right on par with his normal. He is supposed to avg 15-5-4 this year not on par.......
Lemon
What I like about Kobe so far this season is that he's letting Pau facilitate the offense more. Kobe isn't at all dominating the ball like he was last season. You can see it in the numbers where Kobe is averaging 3 less fga than last season an Pau is averaging 5 more fga than last season. This is probably because Kobe wants to save his energy and the coaching staff wants Pau more involved, but I like the balance. I think though, that as Kobe gets more serious like say against the Heat or in the playoffs, he'll want to dominate the ball more. That's good if he's clicking, but he'll have to know when to run the offense.
