The Regime
LeBron James said on Thursday that he would "love to be a part" of Team USA's 2012 Olympic team. "I would love to be a part of that team," James said. "I think it's an unbelievable thing to represent your country. If Coach [Mike Krzyzewski] needs me to be a part of that team, I'm available. Hopefully, I'm healthy enough to be a part of that team. But I'm always up for the Olympics and representing my country. "Coach K has my number, I have his number. If he needs me, I'm there." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69938/20101105/lebron_commits_to_2012_olympics/
Flash
No reason for us not to win Gold for a very, very long time. CP3/D-Will/Westbrook or Wall Kobe/Wade/B-Roy? Durant/Melo/Gay LeBron/Bosh/Amare Dwight/Lopez/Cousins That's what I think our roster for 2012 will look like. N.1.A.K.
i have to think Curry, Rose, E. Gordon and Granger will be thought of for this team as well
ChosenOne
i have to think Curry, Rose, E. Gordon and Granger will be thought of for this team as well Rose probably, Curry maybe, Gordon and Granger no. Honestly I think Lamar would be selected before all of thoes guys, the man can just play to many positions and roles for the team.
Sun Tzu
Yeah, I don't think USA will need all their superstars to win. If they can win with the 2010 WC team then I can't see why they will need a huge upgrade.
Check my Stats
Nice to see the best player in the world still wants to play.
Hawks Fly High
I think they should only let the players who did FIBA play for Team USA
Flash
I think they should only let the players who did FIBA play for Team USA Well we'd still win but the other guys actually represented us and played in the Olympics. So they should be the first choice.
Flash
i have to think Curry, Rose, E. Gordon and Granger will be thought of for this team as well Gordon is the only one there who I could see making it because he's such a gifted scorer. However, by that time I think Wall will have already passed Rose TBH and his defense in the passing lanes is a huge reason why.
Check my Stats
I think they should only let the players who did FIBA play for Team USA I agree with this, or at least those guys should get the first choice to go, but we all know this won't happen. AboveLegit
Very good to hear, probably the only time I ever root for LeBron is when he's playing for Team USA.

Flash
But they bailed on us when we needed them FIBA, and most likely want to just return to the spotlight in the Olympics They didn't bail out. They had things they needed to take care of seeing that just about all those guys aside form Kobe (knee) were working out new contracts. Wade had a custody fight on his hands as well and Melo was getting married. That FIBA team was a chance for the guys next to Durant to showcase themselves for Colangelo and Coach K to see who they wanted coming off the bench.
