The Lone Granger
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed forward/center Sean Marks, it was announced today by General Manager Rich Cho. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. http://www.realgm.com/images/nba/4.2/profiles/photos/2006/Marks_Sean_noh.jpg Marks (6-10, 250) holds career NBA averages of 3.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.2 assists over 10 seasons with Toronto, Miami, San Antonio, Phoenix and New Orleans. He appeared in 14 games for the Hornets in 2009-10, averaging 0.7 points and 1.6 rebounds. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69966/20101106/blazers_sign_sean_marks/ Well, I don't understand this at all. Marks isn't a bad player, but what's with passing over Earl Barron for him? I think Barron would have been the much better pickup, and while he would have probably costed a bit more cash, he still would have been able to put up decent numbers for Portland when they need him. I'm very confused about their choice of Marks. Thoughts?
Dr. Feelgood
Eh, I would have preferred Barron or Randolph. Actually, I'd like to have Rod Benson on the team, that'd be freaking sick.
