magicbalala245
Teammates, including co-captain Dwight Howard, tried to calm Mickael Pietrus. One player said that MP wanted to be traded if he’s not playing regularly, although MP told me he didn’t want to leave a contender. Stan Van Gundy and Pietrus both confirmed Thursday to the Sentinel that they exchanged words. “MP was unhappy about when he went into the game and he was unhappy about me telling him to play defense,” Van Gundy said. “He didn’t like what I was saying and I didn’t like his response, so I took him out of the game.” So does he or does he not want to be traded and according to the article Anderson doesn't like his role either Edited November 7, 2010 by magicbalala245
The Lone Granger
I see him getting traded yes. Pietrus is now in Van Gundy's doghouse, and that's not where you want to be. I'm sure they could move Pietrus, and get another good player or two (maybe to Indiana for a deal involving Rush or Dahntay Jones?). Personally, I just don't see where he fits in this year. He's a great player, but with Orlando it seems like he doesn't mesh well with what they are trying to do both now and in the future. If the right deal comes around, I definitely see a deal getting done.
Newman
I, for one, would welcome him to Chicago with open hands.
Guest The REAL STL10
He want to be traded....but only to a contender. I wonder if Orlando would trade him within the conference for similar value, or would they trade him out of the conference for a similar contract...? Sun Tzu
I wonder what team he will end up going to... possibly Boston?
bigdog17k
I don't think we're trading him lmao. We just have a lot of depth, him and Anderson should realize that and be enthusiastic about it. Plus Pietrus is probably going to be playing more now that Carter is sidelined by a groin injury. The Regime
Bulls can experiment and play him at the two. So far their backcourt play outside of Rose has been super inconsistent. When he puts his mind to it, Pietrus is a really dominant player. He can not only space the floor, but he is a really underrated defender. Not sure what Orlando is looking for in exchange but at this point the Bulls should make all their guards (outside Rose) available.
Check my Stats
He is probably pissed that Richardson has come in and undeservedly taken his minutes, Richardson is not better than Pietrus. Looking at the stats right now, the Magic have a really wacky rotation. Even Dwight is only getting 30 minutes a game, I guess all the blowouts don't help.
