Mark it down: The average Miami Dolphins will make the playoffs.

Run and tell that to anyone you want, says receiver Brandon Marshall, who decided that if being spit on by the opposition wasn't enough to motivate the 4-4 Dolphins, a cliche guarantee will.

"We have a Dolphins team that will be in the playoffs and will contend in the championship game," Marshall said in an interview with Michael Irvin's radio show Tuesday. "This is not a Tim Tebow moment. We have what we need to be a championship team. Guaranteed, from here on out we will compete, we won’t lay down and we’ll make the plays necessary to win the game.”

Yea, if I was Marshall I would be pointing fingers at Henning for being the dumbest offensive coordinator of all time. How can we have a weapon like Marshall and only get one TD out of it? Kind of surprising that he has confidence in us still.

I agree, I'm actually really surprised that Marshall hasn't complained yet. Dolphins as a team have played every team close, including the Patriots up until the second half when we had a special teams disaster. We can match up with the best of them, we just need to figure out how to pull out games at the end.
