reno
GOOD, smoking is terrible, waste of resources, benefits no one, extremely addictive, always sad for loved ones, lung cancer is such a terrible way to die
EastCoastNiner
I'm sure these advertisements will not increase smoking, but I really doubt they reduce it by a large amount. People already know smoking is bad for you and find this out in school, so I doubt this does much.
moeroadkill
yea we've had this for a while now it does nothing imo people already know what it does, they dont care and its not like they have to look at that packaging while they smoke
htown11
Elsewhere, graphic warnings seem to be helping to drive down smoking rates. In Canada, about 13 percent of the population smokes daily, a 5 percent drop since graphic warnings were adopted in 2000, according to Hammond. It might have an impact, even the smallest makes a difference.
