reno
If you swapped Rose with Rondo in the 2010 nba finals, would the Celtics have defeated the la lakers instead of losing? Would it had made much of a difference?
Guest mr_sunshine
No, Rondo's defensive impact is better for the Celtics than Rose's offensive abilities.
Clutch
no because ron ron was destined to win lol
Big Penny
no, for the same reason as if you swap Rajon Rondo for Derrick Rose the Bulls miss the playoffs. swap the players and both teams get worse imo. Owner Real Deal Posted November 12, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 Rose still didn't have a jumper, so Kobe would've defended him the same way he did Rondo. Plus, Rose and three other 20 PPG scorers doesn't work against that Lakers team because he's not a true point. Less defense as well, which is really what put them in the Finals to begin with. Exactly. Let's not forget either, that Rondo was the reason Boston made it to the finals. He dominated the Cavs and got them there in a year when the older players were banged up and had to rely on the young guy to do it for them. If you swapped the two out, it wouldn't have worked for two reasons, Rondo's playmaking would be absent, and the team chemistry wouldn't have been the same.
