Lebron and the scoring records

This is an interesting thought that occurred to me. Lebron has always been the youngest to reach certain scoring marks. Now that he is playing with Wade for what appears to be several years now, does his chances of reaching the top 5, or even number 1 decrease significantly?

I'm not sure if it's that significant that he won't be able to surpass Bryant's 25k record. James will need to average roughly 24 PPG over the next five seasons (including this one) to surpass it before he turns 31, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him do that.

 

And that may actually be off by a half a year. I didn't actually dig enough into it...just more of a guess.

 

But Durant is now in the driver seat, as long as he stays in OKC and averages his 28-30 PPG.
