Madden 2010 demo

It's definitely different then NCAA, so it's a little weird in that state. Some of the buttons are different on Madden. The players are bigger, and the gameplay is definitely slower then recent years, and NCAA.

 

That being said, I thought it was sick. Presentation is a big + for me, I really like it when video games have that sleek but professional look, and both Madden and NCAA have that. They've worked hard to incorporate real companies, especially Snickers, and that's cool. I really like the playbooks, they did something different in that regard too.

 

However, I think some things need to be fixed. The DL still penetrates way way way too easily, and I couldn't run Jacobs between the tackles often. He's too slow to catch the corner too. I think I had like 5 carries for 9 yards. Pretty ridiculous for that too happen, not even 2 YPC. The DL also has an impeccable pass rush from the edge. Eli got sacked twice alone by Ware in the four minutes, which is way too slow for a demo, and I think that's why I think it lacks. No flow or ability to get into the game, which makes it kind of pointless to play much. I can't wait for the actual game to come out though, Dynasty is going to be amazing.

I kind of wish they'd make NCAA and Madden MORE similar. Why? Because bouncing back and forth is a complete pain in the asss when the buttons are different as is the gameplay and gamespeed.

 

When does this game actually come out in stores? I read August 15th...but I thought video games were released ONLY on Tuesdays?

I also didn't get sacked (because I stayed in the pocket) but I threw a lot of picks. I guess we just play the game really different. I'm the better runner, you're one of those people that run back with the QB and throw for 500 yards a game, haha.

I also didn't get sacked (because I stayed in the pocket) but I threw a lot of picks. I guess we just play the game really different. No, if I could, I'd run every down of the game, I love running the football. On NCAA it's so smooth, but once I go to Madden, I played as the Giants, and everytime I'd run a dive play it'd get blown up for a loss by Jay friggin' Ratliff or I'd get a marginal two yard game. I know of a lot of people who have complained about the same thing too, maybe it is just the way we play, I don't know. And I stay in the pocket too, I play the game like you mentioned you play though. Whatever. I'll just have to work with the sliders when the game itself comes out.

LMAO the demo is so annoying..its in the snow so I can't kick a FG from more than 10 yards away, and every time I attempt to scramble with the QB he slips. I wreck though, I got 100 yards rushing with Barber in 4 minutes lol, a user pick, and I failed at the group fumble mini game thing.

When I run dive plays, I don't hold the sprint button and I do the line formation thing before each running play.

Dude that fumble game is so stupid. I clearly dove on it first, and then the animation came in and a crap load of Cowboy players jumped on me and stole it because I sucked at the button mashing.

By the time I realized I was supposed to click X really quick, it switched to A,then back to X then to Y and I was completely lost lol
