Check my Stats
LeBron James was surprised to learn on Monday that he had been named one of the 25 finalists for Time's Person of the Year. Calling it "crazy" just to be on the list of finalists for the award, James seemed almost a bit embarrassed. The winner of the award, bestowed since 1927 on a person or group who "has done the most to influence the events of the year," is expected to be revealed in December. "I am who I am and I think I'm in a position of my life where I'm going to get better every day," James said. "But it's too much." fish7718
He certainly has influenced a lot of the media, at least in the sports world, this year.
Flash
Has anyone been watched more closely and scrutinized this year? Outside of the political world its hard to top LeBron in those areas. The entire country was on pins and needles waiting to see where he would play this year. That says a lot about his influence. I doubt he'll win, but congrats to him for being on the list. Edited November 15, 2010 by Flash
Owner Real Deal Posted November 15, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 Miami is already the team of the century, so they might as well give LeBron this award for the next five years. I don't see anything wrong with this at all.

Owner Real Deal Posted November 16, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 But had he gone to the Lakers it'd be all good right?Maybe for most fans, but I like our two-time champs as they are, and I can't stand LeBron James. I know you'll assume I'm just saying that, but I really don't want LeBron James on our team. I'd rather have Wade, Durant, Howard, CP3, Rose, Williams, Griffin, or Wall, guys that won't make my fanbase any cockier than they already are, and guys that are more likely to stick to their word and not wear "Check my $tats" shirts on the way out.
