La Bomba Posted November 16, 2010 Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 Underground rapper Jay Electronica signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, it was announced at an event in New York Friday night. Shortly after, Diddy tweeted "Damn it hurts in a whole other way when someone you felt and I mean really felt was your Friend, Betrays you. It hurts when Breathe" — which many, including Electronica, interpreted as a reaction to the signing. But Diddy later tweeted that he's happy for the rapper and wasn't referring to him or Jay-Z in the tweet. At the event on Friday night, held at the Box, Jay took the mic to announce the signing. "My whole goal is to reintroduce magic to hip-hop," he said. "We watched this wizard do his thing. And he's an official Roc Nation signee."
