kingfish
If you could have said player back to your team right now, and the player willingly plays there, without giving up anything, would you do it? Cavaliers - Lebron Raptors - Chris BoshLakers - Shaq76ers - IversonRaptors - Vince CarterSuns - Amare Well, would ya do it?
Built Ford Tough
Depends. Are we talking these players in their primes, or the broken down versions of them (talking about Iverson, Carter and Shaq)? I'd take a prime Carter back on the Raptors in a heartbeat, but wouldn't touch the current version of him. I'm guessing that most Sixer and Laker fans would feel the same way with AI and Shaq respectively. As for Amare, I don't see why the Suns wouldn't want him back. He didn't leave on bad terms at all, had kind words for everybody and would make them a dangerous team in the West instead of a fringe playoff team. Cleveland would take James back in a heartbeat. I don't care what anybody says. I'm not sure about Bosh, though. He would clearly be the best player on the team and a bonafide All-Star, but you come to a time when enough is enough. He would just hold the Raptors back from getting a top pick, while not being good enough to make them a contender. He isn't on the same level as a prime AI, Shaq and Carter so it isn't a no brainer like those would be.
Cavamatic
After what he did to the city and to the organization I would rather not have him.
Dr. Feelgood
This is a silly question. Almost all of those players are still great contributors or still star players. I think the answer is obvious, lol.
Multi-Billionaire
I'm sure all teams with the exception of the 76ers would say yes. If the Cavs say no to LeBron because of "hurt feelings", they're stupider than I thought they are as an organization.
Check my Stats
No. I am actually excited at the prospect of us adding a top prospect through the draft. If we could rewind to the off-season then maybe, because then we would have maybe added some pieces to help us win, and following the team while winning is obviously more enjoyable. I think it is obvious, as sweet as Bosh was for us, he was probably never taking us to the promise land, so this chance to hopefully add a new franchise player, with the opportunity to put a better core around him than Bosh ever had, I don't know, it's just exciting to me. I am a huge Bosh supporter, but with his departure, as lame as he made it happen, brings new excitement and I like watching all the other guys get a chance to shine. It just feels like a fresh start, and it is exciting. Maybe it's just me. Cool thread idea though.
Sun Tzu
Yes. I'd love Amar'e back. I don't know how our rotation will work with Hedo on this team but I would presume he players most of his minutes at the SF. PG - Nash / DragicSG - J-Rich / DudleySF - Hedo / Hill / Childress PF - Amar'e / WarrickC - Lopez / Frye The SF would be too stacked and I think minutes will not be distributed enough. He would make us a lot better given that he would provide us with an instant offense in the inside giving some open shots for the guys on the outside.
