^Could be an excuse, could be true. Nonetheless, if his mind isn't 100%, like Cobb said, he should be traded. The Hawks need some more offensive weapons with Marvin and Bibby averaging around 10 points each. They need Crawford or someone else from the bench to provide some points.

He needs to stop worry so much about a paycheck that he is not worth and get back to playing the game of basketball like he did last season. If he keeps up this play I don't see Atlanta resigning him especially with Jordan Crawford looking so promising.

Some players take advantage of this situation (Dampier putting up his double-double in Golden State), and some don't (Crawford). Cool that he can identify it, but I see this as him using it as an excuse, to make sure teams aren't going to look away and forget about him.

Here's the thing...Crawford has always come across as that chucker when his team is down, the guy that things he can superstar his way into the game and drag his team through the mud on his way to a victory. How many times has he shot a bad percentage in a season? This is a guy who doesn't really get that much defensive attention, either, and with Atlanta struggling after their quick start, he's going to struggle the most because it's in his blood to start chucking up shots to win games and look good.

That's been his M.O. most of his career.
