Dash
The Thunder have assigned center Cole Aldrich to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League, it was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. Aldrich has appeared in five games this season for the Thunder, averaging 1.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game. He represents the 16th assignment by a Thunder player to the Tulsa 66ers. Over the past two seasons Thunder roster players have appeared in more than 100 D-League contests with the 66ers. Instead it looks like he's going to need most or the entire season to further develop his game before he begins logging significant minutes on the court. Owner Real Deal Posted November 25, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted November 25, 2010 Well, whatever works. He's a true center that wants to play defense, so the Thunder really need to work with him and make sure he's ready for the pros. They could always use someone like him. La Bomba
I thought he would start instantly for the Thunder. He looked like one of those players that was already polished, and wasn't going to improve that much more once he got into the NBA. I still think he'll have a solid career as a defensive and rebounding center.
Sun Tzu
Unexpected I thought he'd end up being a decent role player and then eventually getting a starting spot but right now it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. moeroadkill
i like the move he wasnt getting any minutes with krstic, collison, jeff and ibaka. plus then he has to compete with mullens so him in the D league at least he gets minutes.once this season ends i believe the PF and C spot will be open for anyone to take should be exciting
