Big Penny
watching over the highlights of the Miami/Orlando game. Jason Williams got Ejected because he might have thrown a ball at Erick Dampier? what the [expletive]!? and then Jameer Nelson gets a T for TRASH TALK!? what the [expletive]!? something needs to be done about this, these guys are grown [expletive] [expletive]ing men, not little 8 year olds. the point of sports is these guys are ULTRA COMPETITIVE, but if you show any signs of competitiveness then you get punished? this is absolutely ridiculous, and the NBA needs to do something about this and soon. Big Penny
Reminds me of when Barnes got his technical for giving the referee the ball.it's laughable. it'll turn in to when you're playing sports with younger siblings as a kid 'c'mon, you've had the ball for long enough, let the other team have a go or i give you all Ts for unsportmanlike conduct'
Sun Tzu
Yeah it's pretty freaking stupid how strict the rules have changed since last season. I'm really disappointed with this move to be honest but that's probably not the only change I'm disappointed with.

headliner
are you related to David Stern? You deserve to get beat up to deathThat’s real funny but seriously he did throw the ball at the man but Jason tried to play it off as if he were trying to pass the ball to the referee. ChosenOne
Jason did throw the ball at Eric and he deserved to be ejected I agree no way he was throwing the ball to the ref. And Nelson was already warned with a T earlier in the game it was dumb of him to let his emorions get outta control, especually against a nobody like House. Hawks Fly High
Wasn't the ball thrown at Jamaal Magloire? But no way he should have been ejected.
ChosenOne
Wasn't the ball thrown at Jamaal Magloire? But no way he should have been ejected. If you throw the ball in the vacinity of a players head you should be ejected nothing more to it. Let alone they were clearly arguing about something before Williams tossed ut at him. AllenIverson#1fan
Well, Crawford is a strict ref. He probably thought Williams threw the ball purposely at Magloire.

JYD
And then you wonder why the NBA isn't nearly as popular? People are really turned off by the way the games are officiated and the way there is no defense played / allowed.

htown11
LOL Flash +1 I don't hate Stern the way most seem to I think he's done good for the league and has made an effort to make his players look as respectable as possible to fans. In that whole process he has taken small details and blown them out of proportion. The new technical foul rules certainly show that Stern is protecting his referees and telling the players to just play basketball and let the officiating be done by the official. In some cases I do like the rule because you have constant culprits who just complain way to much this limits that. On the flip side in some instances players are getting technicals for minor incidents. Jameer Nelson should have just been smarter in that Heat game, he let House get into his head. Jameer was playing fantastic and they were on the verge to victory, let it go and just shoot your free throws. Some players need to be smart and get onto the next play. htown11
Ya that's ridiculous it makes no sense to tech a guy on emotion after a dunk. You could give him a delay of game at max, but I don't see how that is tech worthy it's not disrespecting anybody.
