AllenIverson#1fan
If your favorite basketball player somehow went to his teams rival team?
Check my Stats
Extremely annoyed if they were still in their prime.

N.1.A.K.
if Curry or Monta went to the Lakers i wouldnt be happy. jerseys would be burned. names would be called. fingers would be thrown around carelessly... middle and foam... fish7718
Nate went to Celtics I wasn't too upset. I guess it really depends how good my team is and how good my rivals team is and how good the player is. If Wright went to the Phillies, I don't even want to imagine what I'd do. The Lone Granger
I'm not going to lie. If Granger went to a team like the Bulls, Knicks, or Pistons I'd probably lose interest in supporting him. How can you go from one team, and playing hard and participating in that rivalry and then turn around and play for that hated team against the team that supported you before them? Maybe that's just the way I look at it, but I would have a hard time even watching him play anymore, and I'd definitely stop rooting for him in any way, shape, or form. YugoRocketsFan
I wouldn't care because I am not a homo who is always on one player's balls.
N.1.A.K.
Johnny Damon did it.. i don't think he was adored for much longer...
JYD
The Knicks don't have rivals. You actually have to be good to have rivals.
Big Penny
if Kobe went to the Celtics? i would hate him but i wouldn't go too far with it. when he came back to the staples though, [expletive] would be going down.
Sun Tzu
Nash to the Spurs... nah won't happen. Â Nash to the LAkers... I wouldn't mind since I don't even hate the Lakers in fact they're one of my favourite teams.
Oliver P
It actually already happened for me when John Starks (my favorite player ever with Ewing) became a Bulls in 2000. And I didn't care a bit and was still a huge fan of him.. Now of course he was not in his prime any longer, the Bulls Knicks rivalry was not the same as in the 90's (especially early 90's) but there will always be something special between these two teams nonetheless.., and he didn't choose to play in Chicago as he was traded, so it would be ridiculous to hate him for that... But had he signed in Chicago in the mid 90's I wouldn't have minded it at all nonetheless, well I would have been a bit disappointed of course but I would have still supported him, players are allowed to do whatever they wanna do with their careers. headliner
I think it's a natural reaction for fans to be upset for their favourite player to go to the team’s rival. Fans won't be pleasant towards that player and it makes the rivalry between the two teams that much better.
AllenIverson#1fan
I would only be upset about it if he was a free agent and decided to sign there. If he got traded or something like that I wouldn't be to mad.

Lkr
Could you have imagined if Favre had went to Chicago? It would have been a lot worse than going to lousy Minnesota. I kinda feel bad for him now for being stuck with that organization
