Holliday to the Cardinals

I was hoping this would wait until after this weekend's series, but whatever, this would have been a bigger deal at the trade deadline last year. Although he has been hitting better as of late, it has clearly been proven this year that he is a product of Coors Field.

Idk man hes been heating up big time lately, even in Oakland. Still, the Cards gave up their best prospects (or so ive heard), idk about this deal Holliday is a FA after this year.

Just look at the drop off though. I mean I know the man is a good hitter and has put together a good couple of weeks, but he is not the great hitter we all assumed he was during those Colorado years. Still a dangerous bat, don't get me wrong, but he was a superstar at Coors.

holliday is good, but he is very overrated from his coors numbers. he is definitely a good player though, and a good signing by the cards, but i have no idea if they gave to much

They gave way too much.

Lol they gave up more than the Athletics gave up with Carlos Gonzalez looking more and more like a bust. Oh well guess the Cardinals are getting desperate for a playoff appearance.

What a steal by Cardinals.. They are gonna have hell of an offense

Steal by the Cardinals? They must have really wanted Holliday because Billy Beane just played them big time.
