*Swish*
The Mavericks just made a STUPID move. Send Barea down to the D-League. You kidding? I think Barea has been great off the bench for the Mavericks thus far. I don't see why he should be sent to d-league. Especially since Kidd is going to have less playing time. On the other hand, I don't understand why the Mavs are sending Beaubois to D-League. He had a good season last year and I was predicting to see him as a star in the close future. I really can't wait to see him back in the NBA.

Most Mavs fans know when Barea enters the game, the team suffers. Don't be fooled by yesterday's game. Roddy B is coming off foot surgery so he needs time to get a feel back for basketball. Overall, great moves for the Mavs. As a side note... Mavs should sign Rafer Alston as their backup PG...

He could definitely do better though Edited November 30, 2010 by *Swish*
Guest STL10
PPG: 7.4 RPG: 2.10 APG: 3.2 EFF:+ 7.12 Decent for a back up point guard. He could definitely do better though Barea has had the worst plus/minus on the Mavs for the past 3 years. I watch Barea on a nightly basis and he tries to make unnecessary shots and passes. He could be good in an up-tempo offense like Golden State or PHX, but he is terrible for the Mavs. The last thing the Mavs need is a scoring point guard. If anything we need a great defending PG because Kidd is slowing down on the defensive end.

But I totally agree with you on the bold part

But I totally agree with you on the bold part You did say Barea has been good for the Mavs thus far. Barea has been nothing short of below average. He has 1 good game, and then follows it up with 4 bad ones. We couldn't send Barea to D-League even if we wanted to so yeah...
Newman
Spin: Beaubois will attend the Texas Legends' home opener but will not play. Owner Mark Cuban called it "a marketing support move for the Legends." In other words, this isn't a rehab stint for Beaubois, it's simply a marketing attempt to boost D-League ticket sales. Beaubois remains at least three weeks away from returning. Acquired from my fantasy basketball report on Beaubois and how does Beaubois' presence get more tickets for the Texas Legends anyway? Sun Tzu
Well I can see why the Mavs want to do this. Both Beaubois and Jones need more time.
Finch23
I'm confused? Why the hell did they send Roddy Buckets to the D-League?
