I watched Auburn vs. USCe, and it wasn't close like people said. 56-17.

so how can you say oregon couldn't stop oregon state when you didn't watch the game? They forced 4 interceptions and held a very potent offense to 20 points....

I'll take the SEC defense all day. Auburn just annihilated a damn good team in USCe.

If Terrelle Pryor, playing Tressell ball can have a coming out party against that Oregon defense, then I can't imagine what Cam Newton will do to them.

They allowed 20 points to OSU without James Rogers. That's not a good thing considering OSU's recent offensive outputs without him.

ummm...giving up 20 points doesn't really matter when you were giving up field goals half of the game and held Jaquizz under 100 yards for the game(hell, their entire team was held under 100 yards rushing LMAO). one of OSU's TD's was giftwrapped to them deep in their own territory on a LMJ fumble.

I don't think its fair to compare USCe to Oregon either when one team now has 4 losses and the other has 0.

Go ahead and give the Heisman to Scam, but I doubt he will still have it at this time next year.

I'm comparing the defenses. I'll take the SEC defense 10 times out of 10. USCe held Ingram and Richardson under 100 yards combined.

I think Thomas will get tested a lot in this one. Auburn's run defense is spectacular so we'll see how well James does.

Auburn's defense in general is bad. The reason they rank high on rush defense though is because their offense is electric and teams go away from the run to catch up. That won't happen with Oregon though, as Oregon will run the ball if they are down 20.

Let's not forget that Ingram and Richardson had 11 and 6 attempts respectively. Hard to run the ball when you're losing throughout the game.

Not true at all. Auburn was down against Bama for a long time and still held Ingram and Richardson under 100 combined. Auburn's DL is very, very good and we'll see if the Oregon OL is up to the test.

No doubt at that, but he'll probably pan out exactly like Vince Young has.

I dunno, he seems like a much better passer than VY was coming out of Texas and less of a headcase. I really like Newton as a pro prospect.
