bigdog17k
Via ESPN text alert - NCAA rules Auburn's Cam Newton is eligible, no evidence that QB was aware his father violated rules. I knew he probably didn't know about it.
JYD
Good. I said all along I think this dude is innocent. I've liked him since day 1. Hope he wins the heisman and that Auburn wins the National Championship.
Flash
He definitely got paid but it happens everywhere. Good to see the NCAA use their brain for once.

Owner Real Deal Posted December 1, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 The idea that he could be ineligible is ignorant to begin with. Whether he took money or not, he was still going into the season as, hands down, the best college football player out there...and no matter what happened BEFORE the season started, not a single person can take away what he has done DURING the year. Dude has been in beast mode throughout this entire dramatic process, and I love it. I wouldn't mind seeing Auburn win the National Championship, and Newton holding up the Heisman. Lkr
He knew. He said something and wanted to go to Miss ST and something made him go to Auburn. Auburn must be paying him some money

Cobb
Cheated with and on what? Cam Newton is a boss, ya'll are wackOn November 21, 2008, Newton was arrested on felony charges of burglary, larceny and obstruction of justice after allegedly purchasing a stolen laptop from a student at the University of Florida. He was subsequently temporarily suspended by the team after the laptop was in fact found to be in his possession.[3] Newton withdrew from the University of Florida after the Fall 2008 semester. All charges against Newton were dropped after he completed a court-approved pretrial diversion program.[4]
JYD
I know the story. Really not that big of a deal. Let's not act like he killed someone.
Guest STL10
The NCAA is the most corrupt, hyprocritical BS entity of its kind in the history of the world. Today's Cam Newton decision proves it because it makes no sense whatsoever. Edited December 2, 2010 by STL10
