AboveLegit
This is the first time we've seen Manning at a crossroads. And really, it's been building up for quite a few seasons now. He hasn't had a running game the last few years, he can't do everything. I've said it before, he's the most valuable player in the history of the league to his team, now it's up to that front office to do a better job surrounding him with talent. But with all that being said, he has been making some absolutely terrible decisions as of late, plays that I expect rookies and 2nd year players to make.... he could very well be on the decline soon. fish7718
Manning has only been sacked over 20 times once since 03 as opposed to Romo who's never played a season where he was sacked less than 20 times. I think Manning has plenty of years left because of the lack of hits he's taken. Not to mention, Manning really has to do it all right now. They have no running game, none whatsoever so he's forced to do everything right now. He's struggling but I'll still take him over Romo if I'm starting a franchise. Manning has been sack 228 times, Romo 106 /debateRodgers vs. Manning is a better debate. No, Rodgers is clearly the better option Edited December 7, 2010 by STATCity
Flash
Manning has been sack 228 times, Romo 106 Manning has been in the league longer so obviously his total will be higher. However, if he keeps getting totals around 15-17 and Romo stays around 25 I think Manning will be just fine.
