Why don't NBA players work on consistent half-court shots?

I'm pretty you'll have a better percentage shooting from under the rim than from half-court. I'm not a genius though.

They should at least have the half court shot in their arsenal. Like this guy.

Why would they practice half court shots? I mean.. it's not like they use it like a normal jumper..

 

LBJ actually is doing better than EVERYONE. He practices the halfcourt shots with one hand.

It's not a high percentage shot to take

Lots of players miss shots at mid range, right at the basket or even at the 3 pt line it's just not a high percentage shot plus a half court shot is mostly taken at the end of a shot clock.
