Clutch
am i the only one that thinks the top 3 is a joke? iniestaxaviand messi messi and xavi make sense..but the fact that snjieder isnt there over iniesta...that is damn shame..absolutely ridiculous..this on top of the fact milito wasn't even on the list when he scored the key goals in literally every key game for inter's trebel success ...don't care too much about him or snjieder winning it even though i think snjieder at least deserves it but this is kinda wack Edited December 6, 2010 by Clutch
andreusito
well.. sneijder wasn't amazing. He was a good player who somehow ended up in a team that won 3 titles that year. He was part of it, but he wasn't the key to Internazionale's success. Props on reaching the final in the World Cup though, he scored a lot of goals and was one of the top strikers of the tournament. However, these three all won at least one championship (La Liga), and two of them were world champions, which is 80% of what they count on. If you don't believe it, just remember Cannavaro got this trophy, seriously he was good, but come on... It's Cannavaro.
Hawks Fly High
Knowing Fifa Sneijder is going to get it or Forlan. They always try to make it special. Messi is the obvious choice and its not even close. He just dominated games in so many ways. When he wanted to score 4 goals he would or when he wanted to set up his teamate he did so also. He was terribly unlucky in the World Cup and had a sub par team.

YugoRocketsFan
Iniesta scored the last goal in the world cup, and won it for Spain, he deserved it for just that goal. It was the final in the 2nd 15 minute period, and scored it right before the game ended. Edited December 7, 2010 by His Yugoness
Newman
From what I've heard, Iniesta > Xavi but no one has had a better year overall (including World Cup) than the guys from Barca and Spain. Messi is included because...well, he's Messi.
Gooner
Sneijder should be in there over Messi. He won the Champions League and had an amazing WC. Messi did nothing apart from La Liga.
