AboveLegit
The thing I love most about this kid is that he does all of the little things when his jumper isn't falling. He hardly ever forces things (sometimes it hurts him because he tends to disappear in games), and has great fundamentals. He knows how to play the game. He would be the perfect fit next to Wall, a player who can knock down the three, create his own shot, and defend. He has superstar potential, and in my eyes, is the second best prospect in the draft right now (next to Kyrie Irving).
Jenneral
It's sounding like he's going to be staying at UNC for at least one more year though. However, an even deeper run in this tournament could sway him one way or another if for example he knows he'll go top 3 or something. PG: MarshallSG: Strickland/PJ HairstonSF: Barnes/McDonaldPF: Henson/James McAdooC: Zeller That's nasty. Them, Kentucky and Duke are gonna be insane next year. Check my Stats
When I see Barnes play he just doesn't seem assertive enough to me.
Built Ford Tough
When I see Barnes play he just doesn't seem assertive enough to me. Yeah, he definitely looks more like a complimentary piece than a guy that you can actually build a team around. I like him as a prospect and he is still young, but I agree that he isn't very assertive. That may due to the fact that he simply doesn't have a refined enough game to be that dominating presence offensively. His handle is weak and he is able to create his shot simply because of his solid footwork and size/length. It is hard to be really assertive when you are primarily a jump shooter.
