headliner
The Rockets plan to recall rookie forward Patrick Patterson from their NBA Development League affiliate on Sunday, general manager Daryl Morey confirmed Thursday. Patterson has averaged 17.3 points on 50 percent shooting and 9.3 rebounds in seven games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, who will have five days off after this weekend's back-to-back. He is coming off perhaps his best game of his D-League stint, scoring 24 points with 14 rebounds and four blocked shots in a win against Reno on Wednesday. He had 15 points and nine rebounds, while holding Oklahoma City first-round pick Cole Aldrich to four points and five rebounds, in the Vipers' win on Sunday. "We're excited about Pat's progression and development," Rockets vice president Gerrson Rosas, the Vipers' GM, said. "He's taking advantage of the opportunity. He's meeting the objectives and guidelines that we set for him." Houston Chronicle
Dash
He's been great in the d-league but I hope Adelman isn't bringing him back just to sit him on the bench. If we're not going to play him at least 10 minutes per game then send him back.
