NomarFachix
MikeGarafolo Giants are being told snow on the roof of Metrodome a concern and game might be moved back a day: http://bit.ly/dMWAOe #nyg MikeGarafolo So if (and by that I mean when) game gets moved, the good news will be more time for Nicks/Smith to heal. Bad news: short Eagles week. #nyg Bad enough that I hate domes as it is and they're ruining a perfect opportunity for a cold, late season snow game tomorrow... Now their dome sucks and the snow on the roof is a hazard to the fans? Pushing the game back, and giving them Giants a short week to prep for their division rival in their most important game of the season? Gooooooooooo NFL, goooooooooo domes, I love it. The Crew
I think that the fact that Favre may not play was a big factor in the NFL pushing the game back.
JYD
I think that the fact that Favre may not play was a big factor in the NFL pushing the game back.No. Not to sound like a complete douchebag, but I hate how people always act like there's some type of motive behind EVERYTHING. Sometimes it is just for people's safety and bad weather in this case. The roof literally collapsed today...
NomarFachix
Haha yeah JYD! Roof collapsed for the third time in Metrodome history... Designer needs a raise. [expletive] you, Minnesota.
Jenneral
I think that the fact that Favre may not play was a big factor in the NFL pushing the game back.No... I don't think the league really cares whether Favre plays or not anymore to be honest. It was strictly for safety precautions. It was the right call. Guest STL10
They should play in Chicago http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
Jenneral
They should play in Chicago http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gifThey're going to play in a dome no matter what. New York planned on playing in a dome so that's what they're going to get.
The Crew
Considering that the NFL has proven time and time again that they protect their most popular and marketable pieces, I think it's justified to believe that there is a motive behind this move. Oh, and the roof collapsing was just luck on the NFL's part, so their move didn't look like Favre protection.

Phightins
Amazed this hasn't happened more often there. The Metrodome "roof" is more like a cheap bed sheet.
Cobb
The Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants will play Monday night at Detroit's Ford Field. Kickoff will be at 7:20 ET. According to the Vikings, anyone with tickets to the original game at the Metrodome will be admitted to the game and given preferential seating near the 50-yard line.
