The Lone Granger
Pacers point guard Darren Collison is confused by coach Jim O'Brien's rotation at the position. Collison, the team's starter, didn't play at all during the fourth quarter of Indiana's loss to Atlanta on Saturday night. T.J. Ford has played in crunch times often this season. http://www.realgm.com/images/nba/4.2/profiles/photos/2006/Collison_Darren_noh.jpg "I don't know why I didn't play," said Collison. "I'm not going to lie, it's been tough. Right now, I'm not used to it. It is what it is." The Pacers trailed against the Hawks and O'Brien even went with A.J. Price over Collison in the final period. "I thought our best chance of coming back was with A.J. in the game because he spaces the court, he shoots the 3 and he also needed playing time," O'Brien said. "I also think he did a nice job." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70549/20101213/collison_confused_by_obriens_rotation/ I'm not going to lie, I've been very disappointed with the lack of playing time for Collison. He was brought into Indiana to be that point guard we've been looking for, and O'Brien isn't playing him when we need him the most! Very disappointing the way he thinks Ford is better in clutch situations. Play your best player, and give your team the best chance to win! Thoughts? Dr. Feelgood
Yeah, I was kind of confused when I read that on RealGM. They brought him into Indy to be their starting PG and they're not using him in crucial moments? Granted TJ Ford is a veteran PG but come on...
