YugoRocketsFan
I didn't even realize that Duncan was doing that awful, I thought he was still a 20 ppg player.
*Swish*
Totally agree with you man. I also thought the league was going to be nominated by point guards since a lot of them have improved this off season such as: Derrick Rose: Developing a better jumper that is becoming his bread and butter and is being a way better passer than last year with Boozer in the team, he averages more assists per game. Rajon Rondo: The best passer in the NBA right now. Knows what's his role in the team and he's doing it perfectly. He still developing a shot and starting to use it in the games. Westbrook: Has been the leader for the Thunder so far.. enough said But the power forwards have been impressing thus far. I didnt even realize all of these big men were doing such a great job on the court. Only realized about some of them that have been consistently amazing such as Klove, Dirk, Amare etc.
Nitro
Yeah, it's been like this for awhile. Ever since the early '00's when KG, Dirk, Webber, and Duncan were dominating the league, we have seen a major influx of extremely talented PF's come into the league. I feel KG and Webber really set the stage for the current crop of PF talent with their athleticism, face-up games, jumpers and overall talent. However, because of this, only a fraction of those players you mentioned actually have a back-to-the-basket game, which isn't a terrible thing but it is a little disturbing. headliner
We have 2 power forwards putting up MVP type numbers which should be definitely looked at not ignored. Amare is having an MVP type season and Dirk as well and for the rest of the power forwards on the list many of them are the engine for their team like Pau and Garnett. Point being we should pay more attention to the power forwards in the league.
