*Swish*
As you know, the Knicks are on a 8 or 9 game winning streak since Amare gets 30 points per game streak going.. But if he scores 20 points.. could the Knicks still win a game? (Took this question from NBA TV reporters)
NomarFachix
Depends. If he only scores 20 because he shot 6-25 from the field, they likely can't win. But if he's in foul trouble all game and the shots are going elsewhere, I have some confidence in this club to pick up the slack... They live and die with the 3 ball outside of Amar'e though, so they'd have to be hot.
Guru
It would be tough for them but not impossible
JYD
Depends on who they are playing, too, of course. If they are playing the Nets, they'll still win But no really I think they can. Wilson Chandler can fill it up, as well as Gallinari can sometimes get hot. Raymond is an underrated scorer too.

I have little to no hate towards the Knicks. The only explanation I can think is that the Knicks fans are salty that they haven't made the playoffs since like 2001. JYD
To get back on topic, after last night, if the are playing a quality team, and amar'e drops 25, they are not going to win. When Amar'e is out of the game it's a nightmare.
Makaveli
With the D the Knicks have? No way. Amare's league's 3rd leading scorer at the moment and #1 in NY. Knicks offense is the only thing that's winning them games right now.
Multi-Billionaire
I would say no. Scoring 30 pts is not just "scoring 10 more points than 20 pts"... if you have a player on a team dropping 30 pts every night, it's a presence, it's a force that is different than dealing with a 20 ppg player. Psychology accounts for a large percentage of success in any field.
*Swish*
I was going to say that the New York Knicks were able to win without Amare's 30 points because so many players could pick up the slack but by analizing the game and watching the Knicks play since they're really exciting to watch, the Knicks didn't win since Amare's last 30 point game.. the Cavs game is NOT an excuse. Coming off emotional highs playing the Celts/Heat in front of an electric garden crowd. CLE was much more desperate then the Knicks for a W. Not surprised they lost.
